Case for Support
The Club provides a positive, safe and fun environment for children and teens to learn and grow with activates that support their academic, physical, mental, and social well-being. Each activity falls into at least one of our three outcome areas- Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Leadership Development- and puts young people on the path to "Great Futures". We primarily service children form Newport and Middletown and offer outreach activates in Washington County, where no Boys & Girls Club exists. Over 90% of our members qualify for free or reduced lunch, and nearly all identify as BIPOC, Latinx, homeless, LGBQTIA+, neurodivergent, English learners, and/or from a single parent household.
