Celebrating eleven years, the Newport Antiques Show is New England’s premier antiques event. The Show will
run July 28-30, 2017 and opens with a Gala Preview Party on Thursday July 27, 2017. Attended by more than
3,000 antiques collectors from across New England and featuring more than forty of the country’s top antiques dealers, the Newport Antiques Show is a unique opportunity for your company to make an impression on our high profile attendees while supporting two important non-profits: The Boys & Girls Club of Newport County and the Newport Historical Society.
This Year's Show:
The Newport Antiques Show is one of the nation's premier antiques venues presenting a wide selection of
important American antiques. Over forty of the country's top dealers present paintings, furniture, folk art, jewelry and fine & decorative arts. This year, the show will feature a lecture by Woodstock photographer Elliott Landy who captured images of the greatest music legends of the sixties from Bob Dylan to Janis Joplin. Photographs will be on display and for sale. John Tschirch will present the exhibit entitled "Mapping the Newport Experience - A History of the City's Urban Development" which illustrates a visual timeline using maps and photographs. The show will also feature an interesting series of dealer booth talks throughout the entire weekend:
Friday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m. - Elliott Landy will discuss what it was like to attend Woodstock and will comment on the importance of preserving the vision and essence of the festival.

of art including sailor's valentines and woodwork ships

The Newport Antiques Show is one of the most respected shows in the country. Our patrons and visitors
represent an affluent and educated market. Growing each year in size and exclusivity, the Show lives up to
Newport’s reputation for luxury and impeccable taste mixed with our exceptional history.
The annual Gala Preview Party is attended by VIPs from throughout the northeast, with New York, Boston and Philadelphia especially well-represented. Attendees are business executives, socialites, professionals, generous patrons and politicians of a diverse range of ages. In recent years the Gala has been recognized by leading fashion writers for its noteworthy style.
Each year the Show presents a special exhibit and lecture series. Previous exhibitors include: The Museum of the American Revolution, the Newport Historical Society, the Rhode Island Historical Society, Historic New England
and the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
