Technology
We were fortunate to receive two brand new laptop labs from the Beaumont Foundation. The Tech Labs are definitely popular at both clubs--kids line up at the doors for a chance to play games, research homework projects, use the digital cameras, practice typing, and be part of our unique tech clubs.

Young Producers
Young Producers offers teens the exciting opportunity to use state-of-the-art software and music production equipment to make music. This program is offered at both clubs. Please see the Teens page for more details.

ImageMakers- Digital Photography Club
This club teaches members of all ages how to use digital cameras to take photos and then edit them on the computer with Digital Image Pro.

Animators Inc.
This animation club is for kids ages 9-13. We watch different animations and learn various animation techniques. Right now we are working on a claymation about Chicken Head--a self-loathing chicken who battles a chicken nugget army lead by a chihuahua!

Lego Robotics
Make robots out of legos and learn how to program them with the computer! Lego Robotics is for members ages 10-13 and meets on Mondays at 4.

Netsmartz & Web Explorers
For our younger members, we offer Netsmartz, an interactive introduction to how to use the internet safely. This program teaches kids about how to stay safe on the web by avoiding inappropriate websites and individuals and by not sharing personal information. After Netsmartz, kids can join our Web Explorers group to learn how to search for fun, kid-appropriate websites and games.

World Adventurers
In this club, participants travel the world by researching places they have always wanted to go. They then make photo collages, travel guides, or powerpoints to share with the rest of the group. Internet research skills are taught in a fun and practical way.
